London, England, United Kingdom, March 2026 – Joanna Ruggeri has started a new position as Head of People Solutions EMEA at S&P Global, marking the latest milestone in her long-standing HR leadership journey with the organization.
Joanna has spent over thirteen years at S&P Global, steadily advancing through a series of strategic HR leadership roles. Prior to her current appointment, she served as Director, Regional People Partner, where she worked closely with business leaders to drive regional people strategy, talent initiatives, and organizational effectiveness across EMEA operations.
Earlier in her career at S&P Global, Joanna held several progressively senior HR roles including Associate Director, Regional People Partner, Associate Director, HR Business Partner, Senior Associate, Regional HR Partner, and Associate, HR Business Partner. During these assignments, she contributed to talent strategy, leadership advisory, workforce planning, and HR transformation initiatives across the region. She began her journey with the organization as a Recruitment Coordinator and later an HR Coordinator, demonstrating a consistent trajectory of growth within the firm.
Before joining S&P Global, Joanna worked as HR Advisor at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she gained experience supporting HR operations in the financial services sector. She began her early career as HR Assistant at Menkind, building a strong foundation in HR administration and employee support.
