Parul Balana Elevated to Vice President – Global People Business Partner at HSBC

Gurugram, Haryana, India, March 2026 — HSBC has elevated Parul Balana to the role of Vice President – Global People Business Partner, Group Infrastructure. In this role, she will partner with global leadership teams to drive people strategy, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and support talent development initiatives across the Group Infrastructure function.

Balana has been associated with HSBC for the past three years and has played a key role in HR consulting and strategic workforce initiatives across multiple business units. Prior to this elevation, she served as Assistant Vice President – HR Consulting, Group Infrastructure, where she supported leadership in talent management, succession planning, organizational restructuring, and employee engagement initiatives.

Earlier at HSBC, she held the role of Assistant Vice President – HR Consulting for Wealth & Personal Banking and Global Functions, where she contributed to workforce planning initiatives, HR transformation projects, and data-driven HR decision-making to strengthen organizational capabilities.

Before joining HSBC, Balana worked with KPMG Global Services (KGS) as Assistant Manager, where she focused on workforce planning, HR project management, and analytics-led HR consulting. Prior to that, she served as Senior Consultant at PwC India, where she worked on HR transformation and organizational consulting initiatives.

Earlier in her career, she spent nearly four years with Infosys, where she held roles including Lead – Organization Development and Senior Associate Lead – BPHR, contributing to organizational development initiatives, HR project management, and workforce engagement strategies.

With over a decade of experience across global consulting and financial services organizations, Parul Balana brings strong expertise in talent management, organizational development, leadership development, and HR transformation.
