Karachi, Pakistan, March 2026 – ASA Microfinance Bank (Pakistan) Limited has appointed Momina Durrani as Chief Human Resources Officer, strengthening the bank’s leadership as it continues to expand its mission of delivering inclusive financial services and empowering entrepreneurs across Pakistan.
In this role, Durrani will lead the human resources strategy and people development agenda for the organization, supporting the bank’s growth and reinforcing its commitment to empowering employees while advancing financial inclusion initiatives focused primarily on women and small entrepreneurs.
Prior to joining ASA Microfinance Bank (Pakistan) Limited, Durrani served as Head of Human Resources at Mashreq, where she led the HR function in Pakistan and supported organizational capability building and talent strategy.
Earlier, she spent more than four years at Engro Corp, where she served as Human Resources Business Partner and previously as Head of Talent Acquisition, overseeing talent acquisition across multiple Engro group companies. During her tenure, she drove employer branding initiatives, strengthened workforce analytics capabilities, and implemented data-driven talent strategies to support business growth.
Before Engro, Durrani held the role of Talent Acquisition Lead for Pakistan and Iran at GSK, where she led recruitment strategy for manufacturing, commercial, and corporate functions. She played a key role in strengthening talent pipelines, significantly reducing hiring timelines, and advancing gender diversity initiatives within the organization.
Her earlier career includes leadership roles at The Aman Foundation, Ward Howell International, and Royal Bank of Scotland, where she gained extensive experience in talent management, leadership hiring, organizational development, and business planning across diverse sectors.
Durrani holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London.
