Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2026 — Nykaa has appointed Mitali Laungani as Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Brand Marketing & Communications. In her new role, Laungani will be part of Nykaa’s brand leadership, supporting the company’s storytelling, integrated marketing, and communications agenda as it continues to expand its omnichannel presence and strengthen consumer connect across beauty and lifestyle categories.
Laungani brings a strong track record across brand marketing, social media strategy, and content-led growth in high-velocity consumer and media ecosystems. Prior to joining Nykaa, she served at JioHotstar as Director – Marketing (September 2022 to April 2025), contributing to brand-building and marketing initiatives in a large-scale digital entertainment environment.
Before that, she spent over four years with MX Player (now Amazon MX Player) as Lead – Social Media, Associate Director (August 2018 to September 2022) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, where she led social media strategy and engagement, strengthening audience relationships through platform-first storytelling and culture-led marketing.
Earlier, Laungani was associated with Chernin Asia Media as Senior Manager – Artist Alliance & Business Development (April 2014 to June 2018). In this role, she worked closely with leading film personalities—Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Arjun Kapoor, and Parineeti Chopra—and was responsible for launching, building, and monetising their social media platforms, blending content strategy with commercial growth.
She began her early career in agency-side brand work, serving as Senior Account Executive at Publicis Groupe (August 2013 to March 2014), handling brands including Nerolac Paints and Ariisto Developers, and earlier at Equus Red Cell (June 2011 to July 2013), where her brand portfolio included Deutsche Bank, Taj Group of Hotels, and Reliance Commercial Finance.
