Atlanta, Georgia, United States, March 2026 – First Advantage has appointed David Luzier as Senior Vice President, AI and Product Data Solutions, strengthening the company’s leadership in AI-powered data, analytics, and product innovation as it continues to scale its global background screening and identity verification platform.
In this role, Luzier will lead the development of AI-driven product data platforms and intelligent solutions designed to enhance trusted decision-making for organizations worldwide. His appointment aligns with First Advantage’s mission to combine AI, data, and modern product platforms to power the next generation of hiring and identity verification technologies.
Prior to joining First Advantage, Luzier spent nearly eight years with Hyland, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, R&D Engineering. In this role, he led a 300+ member global engineering organization, managing a $150 million R&D budget and driving the company’s large-scale SaaS transformation initiative. He also led the creation of a three-year R&D roadmap spanning AI, enterprise content management, workflow automation, RPA, and mobile solutions, significantly expanding engineering capacity and strengthening operational alignment across the company.
Earlier at Hyland, Luzier served as Vice President, R&D, overseeing a global engineering team of more than 600 employees across multiple strategic product portfolios while managing a $100 million R&D investment. He also played a critical role in global engineering site expansion and post-acquisition integrations, helping scale innovation and optimize Hyland’s enterprise technology portfolio.
Before Hyland, Luzier held senior leadership roles at Kofax, where he served as Vice President, Transformation & Mobile, leading global R&D initiatives for AI-enabled automation and document capture technologies. His earlier career includes executive leadership roles at Lexmark International and Brainware, where he served as Chief Technology Officer, contributing to the development of intelligent document capture and automation platforms.
