Mexico City, Mexico, August 2026 — Victor Tatsukawa has started a new position as Business Development Director, Latin America (LatAm) at Sandoz, marking his latest leadership progression during a career of more than 15 years with the company. In his new role, Tatsukawa will bring extensive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, licensing, financial planning and regional strategy to Sandoz’s Latin American business.
Prior to this appointment, Tatsukawa served as Business Development Manager, International Region at Sandoz from January 2022 to August 2026. Based in Miami, he was responsible for business development activities across the international region, leading the execution of strategic partnerships and licensing agreements spanning Latin America, Russia, the Middle East and Asia.
Earlier, Tatsukawa was Strategy and Partnership Manager for Sandoz Brazil, where he supported strategic initiatives and partnership development. Among his responsibilities, he served as PMO for the implementation of Sandoz’s first Productive Development Partnership (PDP) for a biosimilar and led the end-to-end signing process for two additional PDPs. His move into strategy and partnerships followed several years of experience across financial planning and analysis.
Tatsukawa previously served as FP&A Coordinator for Sandoz Brazil, with responsibility for consolidating financial results, budgeting, forecasting and P&L management. He also completed a short-term assignment in Global FP&A in Germany, supporting the consolidation of Sandoz’s annual global budget and its presentation to senior leadership. Earlier, he worked as a Senior FP&A Analyst after beginning his journey with Sandoz as an FP&A Intern in São Paulo in 2011.
His progression from finance and planning into strategy, partnerships and international business development reflects a career built entirely within Sandoz. His experience across Brazil, the United States and international markets provides a broad foundation as he takes responsibility for business development across Latin America.
