Nairobi, Kenya, March 2026 — IMCD Group has announced the appointment of Shreyas Joshi as General Manager, IMCD Kenya Ltd, effective 1 April 2026. Joshi joins the East African team from IMCD India, where he served as Associate Director – Strategy, Business Development & Digitalisation, bringing nearly 14 years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry with a strong focus on strategy, commercial growth, and business development.
In his new role, Shreyas Joshi will lead the continued growth of IMCD’s business in East Africa, with a focus on strengthening relationships with customers and principals, expanding the supplier portfolio, and driving export growth across the region.

Before this appointment, Joshi played a key role in advancing strategic and commercial priorities at IMCD Group in India and Bangladesh, supporting business units through organic business development, lead generation for new supplier associations, performance-focused business case development, and commercial and operational excellence initiatives.
Prior to IMCD Group, he served with Lonza, where he led business development responsibilities across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, including leadership roles covering Capsules and Health Ingredients. Earlier, he held progressive sales and regional leadership roles at Signet Excipients Pvt. Ltd., spanning regional sales management and export-linked business development, along with earlier experience as a management consultant supporting the life sciences industry.
