Connie Tippett has been promoted to the role of Director HR Distribution Centers at Michaels Stores. Tippett, who has dedicated over 15 years to Michaels, will now oversee human resource operations across the company’s key distribution centers in the United States, working remotely.
Prior to her new role, Tippett served as Group Human Resource Manager from November 2022, where she supported multiple sites including New Lenox, IL, Centralia, WA, and Alliance, TX. Her leadership in this role was instrumental in streamlining HR processes across these strategic locations, setting the stage for her current executive position.
Tippett’s journey at Michaels began in 2009 as a Human Resource Manager, a role she held for nearly 14 years. Her tenure at Michaels Arts and Crafts involved significant contributions to HR management and employee relations, enhancing the organizational culture and employee satisfaction during a period of substantial growth for the retailer.
Before joining Michaels, Tippett was with Corporate Express in Australia/New Zealand for eight years, where she managed human resources operations, further developing her expertise in handling complex HR issues within large corporate structures.
