In this pivotal role, Munish will drive the strategic growth and technological advancements of Altius, reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s digital transformation and connectivity landscape. Altius operates a vast portfolio of telecom infrastructure, including Summit Digitel, Crest Digitel, and Elevar Digitel, empowering millions with access to advanced connectivity solutions.
With an impressive career spanning nearly three decades, Munish brings unparalleled expertise in telecom and digital infrastructure to Altius. Prior to this role, he served at Google as Executive Sponsor Telecom Carriers and Country Director India Global Partnerships Platform and Device for over six years, where he spearheaded initiatives to enhance digital inclusion and connectivity across India.
Before joining Google, Munish held a leadership role at Facebook, serving as Regional Head, APAC, Express Wi-Fi, where he led efforts to connect underserved communities, contributing to Facebook’s mission of “Connecting the Next Billion.”
His tenure at Alcatel-Lucent spanned over seven years, during which he served as President and Managing Director for India and the APAC region. Munish’s strategic leadership facilitated significant growth in telecommunications, including 4G technology advancements in emerging markets. Earlier, he also held key positions at Lucent Technologies and Tekelec, where he gained extensive experience in sales management, business strategy, and technology innovation.
