London, United Kingdom, April 2026 — Stijn Demeersseman has returned to L’Oréal as Global Chief Commercial Officer for the Consumer Products Division, marking an important leadership move for the beauty group as it continues to strengthen its commercial and growth agenda worldwide. His appointment reflects deep international experience across commercial strategy, retail media, category leadership, go-to-market transformation, and enterprise growth.
Before rejoining L’Oréal, Stijn Demeersseman was associated with Amazon, where he held several senior leadership roles including Head of UK Retail Media & Advertising Account Management, Chief of Staff Amazon Fashion Europe, and General Manager, Senior Category Leader UK/EU. These roles reflect strong experience across retail media, advertising, P&L leadership, category growth, strategic partnerships, and operating model transformation. He also served as a Member of the Advisory Board at Shoptalk.
Earlier, he built a significant part of his career at L’Oréal, where he held key leadership roles including General Manager APAC Commercial Operations and Business Development, General Manager Australia Consumer Product Division, General Manager UK & Ireland Commercial Operations, and Commercial Director Belgium & Luxembourg. These assignments reflect a strong and progressive journey across commercial operations, customer strategy, e-commerce acceleration, business development, and regional growth leadership.
Prior to that, Stijn Demeersseman spent more than ten years with Procter & Gamble, where he held roles including Customer Business Development Belgium Teamleader, Category Commercial Strategy Western Europe, Market Strategy & Planning Fabric Care Belgium & Luxembourg, Key Account Executive Colruyt, Key Account Executive Carrefour, Account Manager, and Field Representative. Together, these roles highlight a long and accomplished leadership career across commercial planning, customer development, category strategy, and international business management.
With experience spanning L’Oréal, Amazon, Shoptalk, and Procter & Gamble, Stijn Demeersseman brings a distinguished and well-rounded commercial leadership profile to his new role. His appointment as Global Chief Commercial Officer for the Consumer Products Division is expected to support L’Oréal’s global growth strategy and strengthen its commercial evolution across markets.
