Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 – Rajeev Goyal has been appointed as CEO – Agri and New Energy (including Powerol) Businesses at the Mahindra Group, marking a significant leadership transition after an accomplished two-decade journey within the organization.
In his new role, Rajeev will lead Mahindra’s Agri and New Energy businesses, driving strategic growth across key sectors that are central to the Group’s future vision, including sustainable energy and rural-focused innovation.
Rajeev brings over 20 years of experience within Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, where he has held several critical leadership roles across the Automotive and Farm Equipment businesses in the Finance & Accounts function. Most recently, he served as CFO of the combined Automotive and Farm Equipment Businesses, a role he held for approximately six years, contributing significantly to financial stewardship and business transformation.
Prior to this, he served as CFO of the Automotive Sector, where he played a key role in strengthening financial operations and supporting business growth. His earlier tenure includes leadership roles as Senior Vice President – Accounts and Finance and Vice President – Accounts and Finance for the Farm Equipment Sector, where he led financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business planning.
Earlier in his career, Rajeev held senior finance leadership roles at Escorts Limited and Escorts Finance Ltd., where he built strong expertise in financial accounting, treasury, corporate finance, and capital management.
His elevation to CEO reflects Mahindra Group’s strong focus on leveraging internal leadership talent to drive its next phase of growth, particularly in high-potential sectors such as agriculture and new energy.
