Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, April 2026 — Eurofins CDMO India has announced the appointment of Dr. Kirithivasan Venkatesan as Senior Director – Process R&D. His appointment marks an important leadership move for the organization as it continues to strengthen its end-to-end capabilities in process and analytical development, as well as manufacturing of regulatory starting materials, intermediates, and clinical APIs.
Before joining Eurofins CDMO India, Dr. Kirithivasan Venkatesan served as Associate Vice President – Process Research and Development at Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Limited. In that role, he contributed to process R&D leadership in a specialized pharmaceutical services environment, further strengthening his profile in development-led scientific and operational functions.
Prior to that, he built a long and progressive career at Syngene International Limited, where he spent more than 12 years across multiple research and development leadership roles. He most recently served as Senior Team Leader, after holding positions as Team Leader and Associate Scientific Manager. This long tenure reflects deep experience in process development, research leadership, and team management within a leading contract research and manufacturing environment.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Kirithivasan Venkatesan worked as Senior Research Associate at Orchid Pharma, adding further depth to his experience in pharmaceutical R&D. Before that, he served as R&D Senior Officer at Sanmar Speciality Chemicals Limited, where he continued building his scientific and development expertise.
He also held earlier roles as Research Executive at INBRI, IDL Industries Limited and as R&D Chemist at Encee Aromatics Pvt Limited. These assignments formed the early foundation of a career that has steadily grown across process research, scientific development, and leadership in the pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals sectors.
With over three decades of professional experience across process research and development, Dr. Kirithivasan Venkatesan brings to Eurofins CDMO India a strong and well-established background in pharmaceutical R&D, team leadership, and scientific operations. His appointment comes at a time when process innovation and accelerated development remain critical to the CDMO landscape.
