Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, April 2026 — Abhimanyu Bhola has joined Genpact as Head, Insurance (APAC), where he will lead the company’s insurance business across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Japan markets. In this role, he will focus on driving growth, strengthening client partnerships, and advancing Genpact’s position in the rapidly evolving insurance landscape across the region.
With over two decades of experience in financial services, technology, and consulting, Abhimanyu brings deep expertise in growth strategy, ecosystem partnerships, and market expansion, making him well-positioned to accelerate Genpact’s insurance business in APAC.
Prior to joining Genpact, Abhimanyu spent close to nine years with EXL, where he most recently served as Vice President – Ecosystem Channels (Partnerships, Advisory, Private Equity). In this role, he led growth through strategic alliances with industry partners, advisory firms, and private equity players, driving cross-sector expansion and strengthening business ecosystems.
Before that, he held the role of Vice President – Growth (Insurance & Health) at EXL, where he was responsible for leading new business growth across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore, significantly expanding the company’s footprint in the insurance and healthcare sectors.
Earlier in his career, Abhimanyu worked with CSC as part of the regional sales team for financial services across ANZ, where he focused on business development and client acquisition. He also held leadership roles at MphasiS and Mahindra Satyam Australia, where he built strong customer relationships and drove business growth across the financial services sector.
He began his professional journey with Sapient and Satyam, where he gained foundational experience in program management, delivery, and client engagement, building a strong base in technology-led business transformation.
Abhimanyu also serves as President of the NTU Alumni Association (Australia), reflecting his continued engagement with leadership and community-building initiatives.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Nanyang Business School, NTU, which has further strengthened his strategic and leadership capabilities.
