Columbus, Ohio, United States, April 2026 — Kimberly Patterson has started a new position as Director, Human Resources Business Partner at Cardinal Health, where she will lead strategic HR initiatives, partnering with business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational goals.
In her new role, Kimberly will focus on strengthening people strategy, enhancing workforce engagement, and driving business-aligned HR transformation across the organization’s operations.
Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Kimberly Patterson spent over a decade at Nationwide, where she held multiple senior leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Director of HR & Chief of Staff to SVP, Human Resources, leading strategic HR initiatives, improving service delivery, and aligning talent and culture strategies with business priorities.
Earlier at Nationwide, she served as Chief of Staff, Nationwide Corporate Solutions, acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and driving operational efficiency and leadership development across the organization. She also held roles such as Senior HR Consultant, Finance Leader Development Program Director, and Manager, Talent Acquisition, where she led initiatives in workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational design.
Before Nationwide, Kimberly held HR and recruitment roles at Wexner Heritage Village, Farmers Insurance Group, and MPW Industrial Services, building strong expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
