United States, April 2026 — Bruce Phillips has been appointed Senior Vice President and Division Director for Space and Intelligence at Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA), expanding his leadership responsibilities within the leading national security and defense analytics organization. In this strategic role, Bruce will oversee SPA’s space and intelligence division, supporting growth, innovation, and mission-critical programs across national security, defense, intelligence, and space sectors.
Bruce has been with Systems Planning & Analysis since 2022, initially joining as Vice President, Emerging Markets Growth, before advancing to Senior Vice President in 2023. His continued elevation reflects his extensive expertise in strategic growth, defense systems, intelligence operations, and space sector leadership.
Prior to SPA, Bruce served as Vice President, Space and Transportation at SAIC, where he led civil space and transportation strategy, business development, and systems engineering initiatives across defense, intelligence, and civil agency sectors.
Earlier, Bruce spent nearly a decade at Engility Corporation (formerly TASC), holding multiple executive leadership positions including VP, Enterprise Solutions, Vice President, Space Systems, and Senior Vice President, Civil and Infrastructure Security Group. His work spanned space systems, NASA and NOAA programs, critical infrastructure security, cybersecurity, WMD threat mitigation, and federal agency support.
Bruce’s distinguished career also includes leadership roles at Northrop Grumman TASC and nearly two decades with TASC, where he built foundational expertise in business development, security, infrastructure protection, and corporate development.
With over four decades of leadership experience across defense, intelligence, space systems, and critical national security initiatives, Bruce brings extraordinary strategic and operational expertise to this expanded role.
