Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 — Yatin Mistry has started a new position as General Manager Human Resources at Theobroma Foods Private Limited, marking a major advancement in his extensive human resources leadership journey across India’s retail, food, healthcare, and e-commerce sectors.
In this new role, Mistry will lead enterprise HR strategy, organizational development, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance systems, HR transformation, and people operations for one of India’s leading premium bakery and patisserie brands as it continues its nationwide expansion.
Before joining Theobroma Foods Private Limited, Mistry served as HR Manager at bigbasket.com, where he played a key role in HR leadership within one of India’s largest online grocery and retail ecosystems.
Prior to bigbasket, he held the position of General Manager Human Resources at Sabka Dentist (Total Dental Care Private Limited), where he led strategic HR initiatives, workforce management, and people systems for the healthcare services organization.
Earlier, Mistry spent over four years at CG Marketing Pvt. Ltd. in managerial HR leadership, where he drove HR policy transformation, HRMS implementation, payroll systems, performance management, industrial relations, and employee engagement improvements across the Mumbai region.
His previous leadership journey also includes significant HR roles at Supermarket Grocery Supplies Pvt. Ltd., Future Group People Office, Metro Cash and Carry, Globus, Blue Lotus Communications Pvt. Ltd., and the Indian Institute of Planning and Management, where he built broad expertise across employee lifecycle management, compliance, payroll, workforce planning, training, statutory governance, industrial relations, and organizational capability building.
With nearly two decades of HR leadership spanning food, FMCG, healthcare, retail, and e-commerce, Mistry brings deep expertise in people strategy, operational HR excellence, and scalable workforce management to Theobroma’s expanding business.
