(ONGC) has appointed Shri Anupam Agarwal as Director (Finance), strengthening its Board with a seasoned finance leader from the oil and gas sector. With over 35 years of distinguished experience in finance and commercial management, Shri Agarwal brings deep financial expertise, strategic vision, governance excellence, and global leadership experience to ONGC.
Prior to this appointment, Shri Agarwal served as Director (Finance) at ONGC Videsh Ltd., where he played a key role in strengthening financial governance, enhancing treasury operations, and supporting the company’s global growth ambitions.
Earlier, he held several senior finance leadership roles at ONGC, including Chief Corporate Finance, Group General Manager – Finance, and Chief General Manager – Finance. In these roles, he contributed to financial planning, governance, commercial management, and strategic finance initiatives across the organization.
A recipient of the ASSOCHAM Best CFO Gold Award 2025 and the ICMAI Outstanding Performer Award 2024, Shri Agarwal is recognized for his excellence, integrity, and innovation in financial leadership.
