India, June 2026 — Terex Corporation has announced the appointment of Jaideep Shekhar as Vice President & Managing Director, Terex India. In his expanded role, he will also serve as Terex India Country Leader, with responsibility for all Manufacturing and Commercial activities, as well as Terex’s Global Capability and Engineering Centres in India.
The appointment is expected to strengthen alignment across teams and support Terex Corporation’s long-term growth ambitions in the region. With nearly two decades of experience within the organization, Jaideep brings extensive industry expertise, deep business knowledge, and proven leadership capabilities to the role.
Prior to this appointment, Jaideep served as Managing Director – Asia & EMEAR at Terex Materials Processing, where he led business operations across multiple international markets. He has also held the position of Managing Director – India, Southeast Asia, Middle East & Africa, playing a significant role in expanding the company’s regional presence and strengthening customer relationships.
During his long tenure with Terex Corporation, Jaideep progressed through several leadership positions including Executive Director, Director – Sales & Marketing, Asia, Regional Business Manager – Asia & Middle East, and Country Manager – India & South West Asia. Across these roles, he was responsible for driving business growth, dealer development, market expansion, and strategic sales and marketing initiatives across key international markets.
Before joining Terex, Jaideep spent over five years with Metso Minerals, where he advanced through a series of commercial leadership roles including Sales Manager – North, Deputy Sales Manager – North, and Sales Engineer. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Application Engineer with Svedala Industri AB, gaining valuable technical and industry expertise in minerals processing and equipment solutions.
Jaideep holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Minerals Processing from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, one of India’s premier engineering institutions.
