Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 2026 — MSD has appointed Dina Mosallem as Business Unit Director, Pharma – Gulf, Libya & Egypt, expanding her leadership responsibilities across one of the company’s strategically important regional markets. In her new role, she will lead the pharmaceutical business across the Gulf, Libya, and Egypt, driving commercial strategy, portfolio growth, cross-functional collaboration, and market execution to enhance patient access and business performance across the region.
Dina Mosallem brings more than 14 years of leadership experience with MSD, having built an impressive career across commercial leadership, strategic marketing, oncology, and pharmaceutical sales throughout the GCC. Prior to this appointment, she served as Business Unit Director – Gulf Pharma, GCC PAH, where she led strategic initiatives for the regional pharmaceutical portfolio and partnered with cross-functional teams to strengthen commercial performance and business growth.
Earlier, Dina held a succession of increasingly senior leadership positions within MSD, including GCC Marketing Director – Pharmaceuticals, GCC Marketing Lead – Pharmaceuticals, and Associate Director – Strategy Realization Officer GCC. Across these roles, she was instrumental in driving commercial excellence, portfolio strategy, organizational transformation, and marketing initiatives while supporting the company’s growth across multiple therapeutic areas and markets within the GCC.
Before moving into regional leadership, Dina served as Oncology Brand Manager – Gulf, contributing to the expansion of MSD’s oncology portfolio across the region. She began her career with the company in Kuwait as a Professional Sales Representative – Diabetes Line, progressing to Senior Professional Sales Representative before advancing into commercial and marketing leadership. Her career progression reflects a strong track record of delivering business growth, developing market strategies, and leading high-performing teams across diverse healthcare markets.
With extensive expertise in commercial leadership, portfolio management, strategic marketing, oncology, market access, business strategy, and cross-market execution, Dina’s appointment reinforces MSD’s commitment to strengthening its pharmaceutical business across the Gulf, Libya, and Egypt while continuing to improve patient access to innovative medicines throughout the region.
