Pune, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Medline India has announced the appointment of Rakesh Ranjan Srivastava as Senior Director – Supply Chain & Commercial. In this leadership role, he will provide executive leadership for a major business unit based in Pune, overseeing multifunctional operations that support Medline’s global businesses. His strategic leadership and operational excellence will play a key role in advancing the company’s mission of “Making Healthcare Run Better.”
Rakesh brings over 22 years of global experience in leading multi-country operations and building, transitioning, and scaling complex business processes across supply chain services, sales operations, pricing, finance operations, service operations, and customer care. Prior to joining Medline India, he served as Director – Digital Enablement (Supply Chain, Finance and Sales & Marketing) at Cummins Inc., where he led digital transformation initiatives across critical business functions, helping enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
Throughout his career, Rakesh has established himself as a transformational operations and supply chain leader with extensive expertise in driving large-scale business enablement, process excellence, and commercial operations. His experience in leading global teams and enabling enterprise-wide operational improvements positions him well to support Medline India’s continued growth and strengthen its global delivery capabilities.
Rakesh’s professional expertise is complemented by an impressive academic and executive education background. He completed the Advanced Management Program in Business Analytics at the Indian School of Business between 2022 and 2024, earned a Global Master Certificate in Integrated Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University in 2020, and successfully completed the CORe Program in Business Analytics, Financial Accounting, and Economics for Managers from Harvard Business School Online. He also pursued a Management Development Program in Strategy for International Business at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (PGCLSCM) from XLRI Jamshedpur, reinforcing his strong foundation in supply chain strategy and business leadership.
