In his new role, Prashant will lead the company’s People and Culture agenda, driving organizational effectiveness, leadership development, talent management, employee engagement, workforce capability, and cultural transformation to support Imperial Auto Industries’ next phase of growth. He will play a pivotal role in building a more empowered, engaged, and future-ready organization aligned with the company’s long-term business strategy.

Prior to joining Imperial Auto Industries, Prashant served as Senior Vice President – HR, Administration & CSR at Greenlam Industries Ltd., where he spent nearly a decade leading the people function for one of the world’s leading laminate manufacturers. He played a key role in organizational design, operational HR, internal communication, CSR, and people strategy while supporting the company’s rapid domestic and international expansion.

Earlier, he was Head HR at Orient Electric, where he led the HR function across four strategic business units and multiple manufacturing facilities. During his tenure, he drove large-scale HR transformation initiatives, including performance management, competency frameworks, assessment centres, succession planning, career development, high-potential identification, and talent management.

Before that, Prashant spent nearly five years with TNT, holding multiple leadership roles including Manager – Organization Development (National Role), Regional Human Resources Manager – North & East, and Manager – Organization Development. During this period, he led organization-wide HR transformation, performance management redesign, capability development, organizational restructuring, employee engagement, and functional effectiveness initiatives while partnering closely with business leaders across India.

Earlier in his career, he held HR leadership positions with Schneider Electric, Alstom Power, Powerlinks Transmission Ltd. (a joint venture of Tata Power & PGCIL), and Tyco, building more than two decades of expertise across manufacturing, engineering, industrial, infrastructure, and corporate HR environments.

Prashant holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS).

With extensive experience spanning organization design, leadership development, employee relations, talent management, culture transformation, workforce planning, and business partnering, Prashant is well positioned to lead Imperial Auto Industries’ people agenda as the company continues its growth journey.
