Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2026 — Conrad Bengaluru has appointed Rahul Singh as its Human Resources Director. In his new role, Rahul will lead the hotel’s people strategy, talent management, employee engagement, leadership development, and overall human resources function, supporting one of Bengaluru’s leading luxury hospitality destinations managed by Hilton. His appointment reflects over fifteen years of progressive HR leadership experience across leading global hospitality brands in India, Nepal, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
Immediately prior to joining Conrad Bengaluru, Rahul worked as an Independent Human Resources Business Partner & Business Development Consultant in the United Arab Emirates, where he advised organizations on strategic HR initiatives and business development. During the same period, he also served as a Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Specialist – UAE with Flowmingo AI, supporting talent acquisition and HR partnering initiatives in the region.
Before moving to the UAE, Rahul served as Director of Human Resources at Grand Hyatt Mumbai, where he led the hotel’s human resources function for over two years. Earlier, he was Director of Human Resources at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu, Nepal, followed by Director of Human Resources at the pre-opening of Hyatt Regency Jaipur Mansarovar. Prior to these assignments, he served as Director of Human Resources at Hyatt Regency Mumbai, where he continued building his expertise in strategic HR leadership within Hyatt’s luxury hospitality portfolio.
Earlier in his career, Rahul held several progressively responsible HR leadership positions within Hyatt, including Human Resources Manager (Department Head) at the pre-opening of Hyatt Regency Lucknow and Employee Relations Manager – Human Resources at Hyatt Regency Mumbai. Before joining Hyatt’s leadership ranks, he worked as Corporate Assistant Manager – Human Resources (Hospitality Group) at Berggruen Holdings, Human Resources Executive at JW Marriott Mumbai, and Human Resources Executive at Renaissance Hotels, where he built a strong foundation in employee relations, talent management, leadership development, and hospitality HR operations.
Rahul began his professional career in the United Kingdom as a Supervisor / Shift Manager with Burger King while pursuing his postgraduate education. This early international exposure helped shape his people-first leadership approach and laid the foundation for a successful career spanning luxury hospitality across multiple countries.
Rahul Singh holds a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources and Project Management from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom, completed in 2010.
