He led a global HR organization supporting more than 14,000 employees across over 25 countries, driving strategic people initiatives, organizational capability, leadership development, and culture transformation. Prior to KPIT, he was Director of Human Resources at AppDirect, where he partnered with global leadership on people strategy, board governance, India compliance, CSR, policy frameworks, financial controls, executive coaching, and scaling a high-growth technology business.

Prior to transitioning fully into human resources leadership, Shashwat spent nearly eight years with Mahindra Rise, where he held progressively responsible roles spanning engineering, product development, capability building, HR transformation, organizational development, talent management, HR strategy, and mergers & acquisitions integration. As Manager – Human Resources and Leader of Mahindra Technical Academy (MTA), he established the academy from the ground up while driving capability development and HR transformation initiatives across the Mahindra Group. Earlier, he contributed to the development of the mHawk turbo diesel engine programme for the Mahindra XUV500, gaining valuable experience across engineering, product development, customer insights, and business management before moving into strategic HR leadership.
