Pune, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 —Suzlon Energy has appointed Anjali Byce as its Group Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). In her new role, she will lead the company’s global people strategy, talent transformation, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and culture initiatives, supporting Suzlon’s continued growth as a global clean energy solutions leader.
An accomplished human resources executive with approximately 27 years of experience, Anjali Byce has built an impressive career across the manufacturing, automotive, industrial, engineering, technology, and financial services sectors. Her extensive expertise in strategic HR, organizational transformation, leadership development, industrial relations, and talent management positions her to play a key role in strengthening Suzlon’s people agenda as the company continues to expand its renewable energy footprint.
Prior to joining Suzlon Energy, Anjali Byce served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Tata Motors, following a successful tenure as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Sterlite Technologies (STL), where she led enterprise-wide HR transformation and talent strategies. Earlier, she held senior HR leadership roles as Director – HR at SKF India, Group Head – HR for the Cooling and Heating Business at Thermax Limited, and leadership positions with Cummins Sales and Service India Limited and Cummins Research and Technology India Limited, where she oversaw human resources, industrial relations, health, safety and environment (HSE), and diversity initiatives. She also began her corporate career with Tata Motors in sales and later served as Assistant Manager – HR at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd., giving her a well-rounded understanding of both business and people leadership.
Complementing her extensive professional experience, Anjali Byce holds a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Delhi University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources from the Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), and has completed Executive Education at IMD Business School. Her strong academic foundation, combined with decades of leadership experience, further strengthens her ability to drive organizational excellence and people-centric transformation.
