Pune, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 — Aafreen Singh has started a new position as Vice President & Head – Direct to Customer at Bajaj General Insurance, marking a significant elevation in her decade-long journey with the company.
Aafreen has been associated with Bajaj General Insurance for nearly 11 years, building deep expertise across direct-to-customer strategy, bancassurance, product management, customer insights, market analysis, and business relationship management.
Prior to this role, she served as Head – Center of Excellence Bancassurance, where she led strategic initiatives across bancassurance operations, product rollout, business analysis, and customer-focused growth. Earlier, she worked as Product Head – Bancassurance HDFC Bank Relationship, Product Manager – Home Vertical, Assistant Manager – Market Analysis and Customer Insights, and Management Trainee – Bancassurance.
Before joining Bajaj General Insurance, Aafreen gained experience with Vodafone India Services Pvt. Ltd. and Tulip Telecom, where she built early expertise in business development, market research, software engineering, data analysis, and internal systems.
She has completed a Leadership and Management Program from IIM Calcutta and a Certificate Program in Project Management from IIT Delhi, further strengthening her leadership and project execution capabilities.
