Kuwait, December 2024 – Abdulaziz Al-Mathkoor has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at stc Kuwait, a leading provider of digital transformation and innovative services in Kuwait. In his new role, Abdulaziz will oversee the company’s HR strategy, focusing on enhancing organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development to support stc Kuwait’s mission of digital leadership.
With over a decade of experience in performance management, organizational development, and strategic HR practices, Abdulaziz’s extensive expertise positions him to drive impactful HR initiatives, ensuring stc Kuwait remains a top employer in the region.
Abdulaziz Al-Mathkoor has been a part of stc Kuwait for over three years, holding progressive leadership roles. Most recently, he served as General Manager – Rewards & Organization Effectiveness, where he led efforts to optimize rewards structures and drive organizational efficiencies. Prior to this, he was General Manager of Performance Management & Organizational Development, where he played a pivotal role in designing and implementing performance improvement strategies across the company.
Abdulaziz began his tenure at stc Kuwait as Director of Performance Management & Organizational Development, where he contributed to aligning the company’s goals with employee performance metrics, fostering a high-performance culture.
Before joining stc Kuwait, Abdulaziz built a strong foundation at Kuwait Finance House over a tenure of nearly eight years. Starting as an Assistant Business Analyst in Corporate Strategy, he climbed the ranks to become Manager of Performance Management, where he successfully led key initiatives in performance evaluation and corporate strategy alignment.
His early career includes an international stint as a Trainee at Kuwait Investment Authority, followed by an Internship at State Street Global Advisors, where he gained invaluable insights into global finance and investment operations.
