With a rich career spanning nearly two decades, Abhishek brings a wealth of global hospitality experience and visionary leadership to this pivotal role, positioning the hotel for its next phase of growth and transformation.
Abhishek began his hospitality journey as a Management Trainee with ITC Hotels and played a foundational role in the pre-opening of ITC Gardenia, Bangalore. He went on to earn an MBA in Hospitality Administration from École Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland, and diversified into fundraising and strategic initiatives for the Indian Head Injury Foundation. Now, as General Manager in Mumbai, he is set to lead room renovations, reimagine F&B offerings, and elevate guest experiences.
“Mumbai has a unique way of finding its place in your heart — and over the years, it certainly found its way into mine,” said Abhishek Sachdev.
“Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, with its legacy and guest loyalty, felt like the perfect place to return to operations. My focus will be on service consistency, enhanced product offerings, and curated F&B experiences that guests will love to return for.”
