South Wharf, Victoria, Australia, November 2025 — Ada Jafari has been appointed as the Regional Head of Talent & Learning (Asia Pacific) at CMA CGM, the global leader in shipping and logistics solutions. In her new role, Ada will drive the regional talent and learning strategy across Asia Pacific, focusing on leadership development, succession planning, and the creation of a future-ready, inclusive workforce that supports the Group’s strategic ambitions across the region.
Ada’s career with CMA CGM spans nearly eight years, marked by her continuous progression through leadership roles in HR, learning, and talent development. Most recently, she served as Interim Head of Talent Management & Development (APAC), where she led large-scale initiatives aimed at strengthening leadership pipelines, fostering employee engagement, and enhancing the overall learning experience across the region.
Before that, as Regional Learning & Development Manager (APAC), she was instrumental in designing and executing transformational learning strategies that aligned with business priorities across diverse markets. Her programs focused on leadership capability building, organizational effectiveness, and promoting continuous development across all levels.
Earlier, she served as HR Business Partner & Talent Development Lead (Oceania), partnering closely with business leaders across Australia, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, New Zealand, and French Polynesia to implement people strategies that supported regional growth and change management. Ada also held prior roles as HR Business Partner (Australia, Timor Leste, Papua New Guinea) and Talent Development Lead (Singapore), where she helped build talent ecosystems and implemented employee development frameworks in alignment with CMA CGM’s global standards.
Prior to joining CMA CGM, Ada gained strong experience in learning and workforce development with Sarina Russo Job Access in Australia, where she served as Operational Trainer (Victoria) and Team Leader, leading training across 35 sites and driving performance excellence. Her early career also included roles in customer engagement and retail management with The Body Shop, where she developed her passion for people and purpose-driven work.
