Chicago, Illinois, United States, July 2024 – Crystal Pantoja Diaz has joined HuFriedyGroup as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. With a wealth of experience in HR leadership and strategic management, Crystal will oversee all HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, training and development, benefits, and compensation programs to support HuFriedyGroup’s strategic goals and enhance its workforce capabilities.
Crystal Pantoja Diaz has started her role as the Chief Human Resources Officer at HuFriedyGroup. Based in Chicago, Illinois, she will lead HR strategies to drive organizational success.
Previously, Crystal served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc., where she was a member of the executive team driving goals and development for the company. Her scope included talent management, talent acquisition, HR systems and operations, benefits, compensation, and employee interface for 20 HR professionals across 8 manufacturing sites and 1600 nonunion employees. She implemented significant changes, such as saving $600K and reducing HR manual functions by 20%, realigning the HR department, and increasing employee productivity.
At Koch Foods, Inc., Crystal was the Human Resources Manager responsible for providing HR leadership for an 800-employee facility. She focused on reducing risk and liability through training and succession planning and developed a FMLA tracking system that reduced administrative time by 60%.
Earlier in her career, Crystal worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Tandem HR, where she served as an HR consultant for employers looking to outsource their HR services. She provided generalist support to over 20 clients across various industries and developed and updated handbooks, including policy and compliance.
Crystal also gained experience as a Human Resources Assistant at Kehoe Designs, where she assisted in recruiting processes, policy development, and employee handbook rollout. She was involved in project planning and team-building strategies used to create a positive work culture in a labor-intensive environment.
