Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany, July 2025 – Adeel Tariq has taken on a new global leadership role within the Yokohama Group, transitioning from his position at Yokohama Europe to become Vice President Global HR, Talent Acquisition & Development at Yokohama Off-Highway Tires (YOHT). In this new capacity, Adeel will lead strategic talent initiatives, focusing on building a robust internal talent pipeline and supporting global business growth for a network spanning 16,000 employees and 11 manufacturing plants.
Previously, Adeel served as Vice President HR & General Affairs, ICT, Legal at YOKOHAMA Europe GmbH, where he was responsible for the entire European organization, overseeing HR management, legal and compliance, and ICT functions. His leadership at Yokohama has been marked by deep expertise in global people strategy, organizational design, and process harmonization.
Before joining Yokohama, Adeel held key HR leadership positions at PROMETEON Tyre Group in Milan, Italy—including Senior Global HR Business Partner and Regional HR Business Partner/Manager for Europe—where he supported global functions and led HR transformation across multiple regions. His experience also includes leading HR operations at Bridgestone in the DACH region, and over nine years as a Personal-Militar Officer with Bundeswehr Wir. Dienen. Deutschland, managing complex HR and personnel planning for large teams.
Adeel’s experience spans a wide range of strategic HR domains—talent acquisition, performance management, labor relations, organizational development, and HRIS transformation—making him well-positioned to drive YOHT’s people agenda worldwide.
