Bangkok, Thailand, June 2024 – The Thai Group Holdings Board of Directors’ meeting No. 5/2024 held on May 15, 2024, resolved to appoint Dr. Agapol Na Songkhla as Chief People Officer to oversee human capital management of each company, and Head of Strategy Office to oversee corporate strategy and organizational transformation of Thai Group Holdings Public Company Limited. This appointment is effective from June 27, 2024, onwards. With a distinguished career in human capital management and strategic leadership, Dr. Agapol is set to drive impactful strategies and organizational transformation within the company.
Dr. Agapol Na Songkhla joins Thai Group Holdings with a wealth of experience in HR and corporate strategy across diverse industries. As Chief People Officer and Head of Strategy Office, he will oversee human capital management and corporate strategy, aiming to enhance the organizational structure and drive strategic initiatives.
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Agapol served as the Chief People Officer at Thai Beverage PLC for over nine years, where he was instrumental in implementing strategic HR initiatives and fostering a strong corporate culture.
In addition to his role at Thai Beverage, Dr. Agapol was royally appointed to serve as a member of the Civil Service Commission of Thailand (ก.พ.) from February 2021 to May 2024. During this tenure, he contributed to the development and implementation of policies for the Thai civil service sector.
Dr. Agapol also held significant roles at TMB Bank PCL from September 2006 to December 2014, including Executive Vice President, where he led strategy and transformation, corporate governance, investor relations, and served as the company secretary.
Earlier in his career, he worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for nine years as a Consultant, Project Leader, and Principal, leading numerous high-impact projects and gaining extensive experience in strategic consulting and organizational transformation.
