With a career spanning over a decade at Schneider Electric, Abdel Maksoud brings extensive expertise in financial strategy, credit management, and operational efficiency to his new role, where he will oversee the financial operations across the region.
Abdel Maksoud has been an integral part of Schneider Electric, most recently serving as MEA FZCO Credit & HUB Collections Senior Manager, where he successfully managed credit policies, cash collection processes, and financial reporting across multiple clusters. His consistent contributions and leadership make him a valuable asset in driving the company’s growth and sustainability in the region.
Ahmed Abdel Maksoud has a remarkable career journey of nearly 14 years in financial management and treasury roles, primarily within Schneider Electric.
In his tenure at Schneider Electric, Abdel Maksoud has held several senior roles, including Senior Credit Manager for the NEAL Cluster and MEA FZCO Credit Manager, where he played a pivotal role in establishing credit policies, managing risk exposure, and overseeing multi-country operations. His ability to lead strategic financial initiatives and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams has been instrumental in delivering consistent results.
Before joining Schneider Electric, Abdel Maksoud worked at Mantrac Group as a Senior Treasury Accountant, where he honed his skills in cash management, financial reporting, and trade finance. His early career included roles as a Treasury Accountant, contributing to the optimization of corporate loans, investments, and foreign currency transactions.
