Ireland, March 2025 – Aidan Price has taken on the role of Head of Talent ID and Recruitment at the Football Association of Ireland (FAI). In this role, he will lead talent identification strategies, scouting initiatives, and recruitment processes to enhance the development of football talent across Ireland.
Aidan brings over a decade of experience in talent identification, player development, and coaching. Prior to joining the FAI, he held multiple leadership positions at Shamrock Rovers F.C., most recently serving as Head of Academy Coaching, where he oversaw player progression, coaching curriculum development, and talent scouting.
Previously, he served as Head Coach for various age-group teams at Shamrock Rovers, successfully implementing structured development pathways and tactical coaching strategies.
Beyond his contributions to football, Aidan also gained valuable leadership experience in operations and business development, having worked in key roles at Active Sportswear and Guinness Storehouse. His ability to identify and nurture talent, combined with his strategic mindset, makes him a strong asset to the Football Association of Ireland as it continues to strengthen its player pipeline.
