Kuwait, May 2024 – Aisha Al-Duaij has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources at the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS). Aisha brings extensive experience in human resources management and strategic HR leadership to her new role, where she will oversee HR functions and contribute to the foundation’s mission of advancing science and technology in Kuwait.
Aisha’s most recent role was as Chief Human Resources Officer at ePortal Holding Company K.S.C.C for approximately two years. In this position, she was responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that aligned with the company’s objectives and supported its growth.
Before that, Aisha served as General Manager, Talent Management at Kuwait Telecommunication Company (stc) for about three years. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in talent acquisition, performance management, and developing strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
From there, Aisha held the position of Talent and Rewards Management Manager at Zain Kuwait for approximately two years. She was responsible for managing talent and rewards programs, ensuring that they were aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Earlier Roles:
Aisha’s earlier roles include working as a Human Resources Strategic Business Partner at the National Bank of Kuwait for about three years, where she partnered with business units to develop and implement HR strategies that supported business goals. She also served as a Human Resources Business Partner at Ooredoo Kuwait for over five years, where she managed HR functions and contributed to the company’s overall HR strategy.

The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), a non-profit organization established by an Amiri Decree, has been providing sustained support to the progress and advancement of science and technology since 1976. H.H. The Amir of the State of Kuwait chairs the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Private sector companies contribute 1% of their annual net profits to the Foundation.
