Kerala, India, April 2025 – Ajay Pillai has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at J&A Business Group, bringing over two decades of leadership in administration, operations, and strategic management to the helm of the diversified business conglomerate. In his new role, Ajay will spearhead the group’s growth strategy, drive operational excellence, and oversee initiatives aligned with innovation, quality, and national economic contribution.
Prior to joining J&A Business Group, Ajay Pillai served as Chief Executive Officer at Ashtamudi Wellness – India, where he played a transformative role in shaping the organization’s wellness-driven business model over the past year and a half. His leadership was instrumental in positioning the brand within the health and lifestyle ecosystem in Kerala.
Before that, he was the Director of Administration Operations at Testhouse, managing global operational compliance across the UK, USA, GCC, and Australia. His extensive experience in operations enabled seamless execution and strategic alignment of the company’s international administrative functions.
Earlier, Ajay led key administrative roles at Bajaj Electricals Ltd as Head of Administration, overseeing pan-India projects related to facility, security, and corporate real estate. He also served as CEO of SFS Ltd, where he honed his leadership in managing business units and aligning them with operational and strategic outcomes.
Ajay’s career includes critical roles at Nahar Group, Writer Corporation, Prime Focus, and SUN PHARMA, where he led functions such as infrastructure, security, corporate procurement, and facility management. With a professional foundation laid at FFSL and an MBA from the University of Mumbai, Ajay brings both academic and experiential depth to his new role at J&A Business Group.
