Gurugram, Haryana, India, September 2025 — Ajay Sachdewa has been appointed as Group Chief Business Officer at IIFL Home Loans. In this new role, he will be responsible for leading business growth, driving transformation, and strengthening distribution strategies across the home loans business. His appointment underscores IIFL Home Loans’ focus on scaling its housing finance operations and enhancing accessibility for customers across India.
Before joining IIFL, Ajay was with Axis Bank as Head – Distribution & Transformation, Home Loans, where he played a key role in expanding the retail mortgage portfolio and building innovative distribution channels. His leadership contributed significantly to improving customer acquisition, service models, and digital transformation.
Prior to Axis Bank, Ajay served at HDFC Limited as Head of Marketing, Business Development & Distribution, Head of Customer Care Center, and Head of Third Party Products, where he spearheaded multiple national-level initiatives, product strategies, and customer engagement programs. Earlier, as Chief Executive Officer of HDFC Sales Private Limited, he drove business expansion, building strong distribution networks and enhancing customer service excellence.
Ajay’s long-standing association with HDFC Group spanned over 15 years, during which he also served as National Head – Marketing and Regional Head – Dubai & GCC, where he successfully developed business strategies for both domestic and international markets. He has also held leadership roles in business development and branch management across multiple locations in India and the Middle East.
He began his career with Bajaj Capital Ltd. and built deep expertise in sales, marketing, and operations before joining HDFC. With over two decades of experience in the financial services sector, Ajay brings strong domain knowledge in housing finance, business transformation, and customer engagement, positioning him as a key leader to drive IIFL Home Loans’ next phase of growth.
