Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, September 2025 – Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS) has announced the appointment of Ajeet Singh Chopra as Director – Corporate Relations. In his new role, Ajeet will focus on building robust industry partnerships, enhancing engagement with corporate stakeholders, and forming strategic alliances with business forums, chambers, and associations. He will also play an active role in the School of Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), mentoring students and helping align academic learning with real-world industry needs.
Ajeet joins SUAS with more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, most notably at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he held several leadership roles. His most recent position was Vice President & Regional Business Manager – Working Capital Financing, overseeing operations across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Eastern Maharashtra. Prior to this, he managed working capital business across Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha, demonstrating his ability to drive regional growth while managing complex portfolios.
Earlier in his career at Kotak, Ajeet served as Associate Vice President – Working Capital Business, focusing on acquisition and portfolio management in Madhya Pradesh. He also held key positions such as Branch Manager and Channel Management – Sales (Retail Liabilities) in metro markets like Mumbai and Ahmedabad. This blend of experience across retail assets and liabilities has equipped him with a holistic understanding of consumer banking across diverse geographies.
Ajeet began his professional journey with Standard Chartered Global Private Bank as a Personal Financial Manager, where he was involved in client advisory and wealth management. His comprehensive industry exposure and people-first approach position him well to bridge the gap between academia and industry, offering future professionals valuable mentorship rooted in real-world financial practices.
