Uttar Pradesh, India, November 2025 – Ajit Tiwari has joined the Bajaj Group as Zonal Head – HR, marking another milestone in his distinguished career in human resource leadership and industrial relations. In his new role, Ajit will oversee HR operations across eight manufacturing business units in the Central Zone, managing the complete employee lifecycle with a strong focus on talent management, engagement, learning and development, and legal compliance. He will also play a pivotal role in strengthening organizational culture and aligning HR processes with Bajaj Group’s vision of operational excellence and people-first growth.
Ajit brings over two decades of experience in HR, employee relations, and organizational development across leading manufacturing and industrial conglomerates. Prior to joining Bajaj Group, he served as Functional Head – Human Resources at Vardhman Textiles, where he led end-to-end HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and labour relations. He successfully fostered a culture of collaboration while administering township, transport, and security operations at Vardhman Fabrics.
Before that, Ajit was associated with Grasim Industries Limited (Aditya Birla Group) as Functional Head – Unit Human Resources, where he oversaw HR operations for multiple industrial units in Jharkhand. His leadership contributed to enhanced workforce productivity, compliance adherence, and the development of high-performing teams across the organization.
Earlier, Ajit spent nearly nine years at Hindalco Industries Limited, another Aditya Birla Group company, where he rose through multiple HR leadership roles including Department Head – Employee Relations and Functional Head – HR for Jharkhand Coal Mines. He played a significant role in industrial relations, employee engagement, and capability development across diverse business environments.
Ajit’s earlier professional journey includes impactful HR leadership tenures at Suzuki Motorcycle India, Hero Motors, and Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited, where he managed people development, employee welfare, and organizational change initiatives. He began his career with Dalmia Bharat Group and Scooters India Limited, gaining early exposure to HR operations and labour law compliance within manufacturing settings.
