London, England, United Kingdom, December 2025 – Wipro Limited has announced the appointment of Ajoykumar Bhat as Global Strategic Account Manager, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading one of Wipro’s most critical global banking relationships headquartered in the United Kingdom. In this role, he will oversee global P&L ownership, client relationships, delivery governance, AI-led value creation initiatives, and employee engagement across a globally distributed workforce.
With over two decades of leadership experience at Wipro, Ajoykumar Bhat has built a reputation as a trusted client leader in the global financial services domain. In his current role, he manages one of the world’s largest banking relationships for Wipro, driving strategic alignment, delivery excellence, consultative transformation initiatives, and enterprise-wide client engagement while leading multidisciplinary global teams.
Prior to this, he served as General Manager and Account Delivery Head, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening delivery governance, improving financial KPIs, and enhancing customer experience for one of Wipro’s largest financial services clients in the UK, operating in a strategic “two-in-a-box” leadership model.
Earlier, he held leadership roles including Client Partner, Head of Farming Sales – Banking, Securities & Capital Markets (UK & Ireland), and Director – Global Infrastructure Services, where he was instrumental in expanding wallet share, securing preferred supplier status, managing multi-million-dollar global programs, and creating referenceable enterprise clients across Europe, India, and the United States.
He began his professional journey in enterprise technology sales and infrastructure services, building deep expertise in strategic selling, delivery excellence, and large-scale client transformation programs that continue to define his leadership approach today.
