Singapore, May 2025 — Akhilesh Pandey has taken on the role of Vice President (SERE International) – Sustainability, Environment, Real Estate, Safety & Health at Schneider Electric, where he will lead strategic and operational efforts across five key international regions: East Asia & Japan, India, Middle East & Africa, South America, and the Pacific. In this global leadership position, he will be responsible for steering the company’s initiatives in real estate optimization, sustainability transformation, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) governance.

Prior to this, Akhilesh served as Vice President HSE (Asia Pacific) and Global HSE Lead for the Procurement Division at Rolls-Royce, where he championed the group’s “Zero Harm” philosophy and led HSE governance across the region. He was instrumental in building strategic roadmaps, enhancing compliance, and embedding safety-first culture across diverse operations.

Earlier, he headed HSE for Rolls-Royce Asia Pacific, leading Group Business Services for HSE and wellbeing across the region. He also held key positions including HSE Business Partner for Rolls-Royce’s Seletar Complex in Singapore and Regional HSE Manager for India and South Asia, overseeing safety systems, audits, assurance, and capability development.

Previously, he was QHS&E Business Partner – Asia at Rolls-Royce Power Systems, where he supported safety compliance, quality audits, and supplier risk assessment across Asian markets. He has also worked with Escorts Limited and AMNS India, managing EHS functions and driving ISO-based system implementations. He began his professional journey in fire safety education and consultancy at IPS Academy.

With nearly two decades of experience across heavy engineering, power systems, manufacturing, and infrastructure, Akhilesh brings a robust background in real estate governance, HSE excellence, environmental compliance, and sustainable operations. His leadership at Schneider Electric aligns with the company’s bold vision for a sustainable, inclusive, and digitally enabled future.
