Sunaina Haldar Appointed as Director – Marketing at Faber-Castell India

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2026 – Faber-Castell India has appointed Sunaina Haldar as Director – Marketing, marking a significant addition to its leadership team as the brand continues to strengthen its market presence and consumer connect.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the new role, Haldar shared that she feels fortunate to join a passionate team and be part of a brand with a remarkable legacy of over 265 years, known globally for creativity, quality, and innovation.

Prior to joining Faber-Castell India, Haldar served at ADF Foods Ltd. as Head of Marketing – India & International, where she led marketing for brands such as Ashoka, Aeroplane, Camel, and ADF Soul across multiple global markets including India, the US, Canada, UK, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand. She also played a key role in building and scaling the ADF Soul brand and contributed as a Fractional CMO for strategic initiatives.

Earlier, she worked as VP – Marketing at SleepyCat, where she was part of the core leadership team driving brand, content, and performance marketing, establishing the company as a premium player in the D2C sleep solutions space.

She also held a leadership role at Tata Consumer Products, where as Head of Marketing, NPD & CRM – Tata SmartFoodz, she led the growth of Tata Q, driving brand awareness, digital-first strategy, and product innovation, achieving strong consumer traction in a competitive category.

Haldar’s career also includes impactful roles at The Hershey Company, where she led key product launches and award-winning digital campaigns, as well as at Vodafone and General Mills, where she built expertise in consumer insights, brand management, and growth strategies across diverse markets.

She began her career in research and insights with IMRB International and later worked with ICICI Bank, building a strong foundation in consumer understanding and business strategy.

Haldar holds a PGDBM in Marketing from IMI Delhi.
