Atlanta, Georgia, United States, November 2025 — FirstKey Homes has announced the appointment of Alanna Mahone as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. In her new role, Alanna will lead the company’s enterprise people strategy, culture development, organizational effectiveness, and leadership excellence initiatives. She will oversee talent acquisition, performance and engagement, compensation and benefits strategy, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion programs — all aligned to FirstKey Homes’ mission of delivering exceptional living experiences and building thriving communities.
With a career spanning more than two decades in human resources leadership across real estate, financial services, and mobility solutions, Alanna is known for building strong, people-first cultures and driving large-scale transformation with measurable business impact. She brings a strategic and empathetic leadership style focused on empowering people, shaping culture, and strengthening organizational capability.
Before joining FirstKey Homes, Alanna served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources at Landmark Properties, Inc., where she led people strategy across investment management, construction, real estate development, and operations spanning more than 30 states. She drove key initiatives including enterprise Workday implementation, self-insured health benefits model transition, and leadership competency frameworks — efforts that contributed to stronger organizational alignment and a Great Place to Work certification.
Previously, Alanna held the role of Executive Vice President, People & Performance at LeasePlan USA (later part of Wheels, Inc.), where she led organizational culture transformation, founded the company’s first DEI council, and championed employee wellbeing strategies that delivered record workforce engagement during the COVID-19 period.
Earlier in her career, Alanna served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources at LeasePlan USA, and Vice President, Human Resources at Mansfield Oil Company, where she played a critical role in end-to-end HR transformation, talent management systems redesign, compensation structure improvement, and workforce scalability during multiple business growth phases.
This appointment strengthens FirstKey Homes’ ongoing commitment to fostering belonging, collaboration, and leadership excellence across its national workforce, while continuing to enhance its resident-first service culture.
