Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, March 2026 — Albertsons Companies India has appointed Parineeta Cecil Lakra as Head of Human Resources. In her new role, Lakra will lead the HR function as the India organization continues to scale its technology and digital capabilities supporting Albertsons Companies’ omni-channel retail transformation.
Lakra joins Albertsons Companies India as Vice President, Human Resources, bringing a strong blend of people leadership, culture building, and transformation experience across large, matrixed organizations. Her appointment aligns with the company’s focus on strengthening leadership, accelerating capability development, and enabling a high-performance, values-led culture.

Across these roles, she worked at the intersection of people, culture, and business transformation to support scale and organizational maturity.
Before IKEA, Lakra was associated with Carrefour India for nearly six years, including as Division Head – Human Resources and Senior Manager Training and Development, building depth across HR leadership and capability development.
