Santos, São Paulo, Brazil, August 2025 — Alcino Therezo has been appointed as Vice President Human Resources at DP World. In this new role, he will lead people strategy and organizational development across one of the world’s most transformative logistics and trade companies, supporting DP World’s mission to reimagine global supply chains.
Alcino has been with DP World since 2022, most recently serving as People Director, where he played a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives and supporting business transformation for the organization in Brazil.
Before joining DP World, he was Head de Gente & Gestão at FLOW Executive Finders, where he designed and led HR strategies focused on talent management and organizational culture. Prior to that, he spent nearly nine years as HR Director at Santos Brasil, overseeing human resources for one of the leading port terminal and logistics operators in the country.
His earlier career includes serving as Development & Talent Acquisition Manager at Microsoft, where he strengthened talent pipelines and leadership development, and as HR Director at Santander, where he supported workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives. Alcino also held leadership roles as Workforce Management Director at EDS, HR Manager at Aché Laboratórios, and HR Consultant at PwC, building a strong foundation in HR strategy and advisory services. He began his career as an HR Business Partner at Softtek, gaining early exposure to business-driven HR solutions.
