London, England, United Kingdom, November 2025 — Alex Hyde has begun a new role as NED & Strategic Advisor at Alternative Energy Company (AEC), bringing over two decades of global leadership experience across sustainability talent strategy, executive search, and organizational design. In his new advisory capacity, Alex will support AEC’s leadership planning, culture-building, and the company’s scale-up across the UK, Europe, India, and international markets, ensuring the organization continues to nurture talent that grows across borders.
Most recently, Alex has been serving as Head of Sustainability, Energy Transition & Circularity at Venari Partners, where he leads the firm’s global practice in sustainability and energy transition executive search. His work includes mandates at the C-suite, Board, and Director levels across sustainable fuels, carbon management, clean power, energy storage, circular materials, infrastructure, food & nature circularity, and ESG leadership roles. His deep cross-functional network and expertise in global sustainability talent have positioned him as a trusted advisor to CEOs, PE-backed companies, and fast-scaling technology innovators.
Before joining Venari Partners, Alex spent over five years with BIE Executive, holding leadership roles including Director – Search – Business Transformation and Director – Search – CFO & Financial Leadership Practice. He supported major organisations undergoing transformation through interim leadership, executive search, and permanent resourcing, guiding clients in building leadership capability and delivering strategic change across core business functions.
Earlier in his career, Alex spent more than seven years at Brewer Morris as Director, where he established and led the Corporate Finance & Treasury team. He managed a team of five and successfully executed senior leadership searches for large global clients such as Total, BHP, GSK, and AstraZeneca, strengthening his credibility in financial and corporate leadership recruitment.
He began his executive search career at Michael Page International, where he progressed from Graduate Consultant to Manager over six years. This foundational experience honed his expertise in recruitment, stakeholder engagement, leadership assessment, and cross-functional hiring across international markets.
