Prior to his new appointment, Alex Porte served as Sales Manager at Groupon, building expertise in operational excellence and strategic team development. Before joining Groupon, Alex had an extensive career in executive search and leadership hiring, working with top firms such as BrainWorks as Senior Consultant and Parker Remick as Principal / Business Development Ops Leader, where he specialized in leadership searches across data science, analytics, product, and design domains.
Earlier, at Spencer Stuart, Alex played a key role in client development efforts supporting large-cap and mid-cap companies, private equity, and venture capital firms. He also spent several impactful years at Gartner, where he led business development teams and earned recognition as a top coach in North America. His deep experience in leadership hiring, business development, and organizational transformation positions him well to support Groupon’s journey towards becoming the ultimate destination for local experiences and services.
