In this pivotal leadership role, Alina will lead the company’s human resources strategy, including talent management, organizational development, learning, and culture transformation initiatives that align with Tampa Electric’s mission of delivering reliable, sustainable energy and exceptional employee experiences.
Alina has been an integral part of Tampa Electric for more than five years, most recently serving as Director of Human Resources, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition, where she played a central role in evolving the company’s people strategy. Her work focused on modernizing HR and talent processes, strengthening business partnerships, and fostering an inclusive, performance-driven culture that supports long-term business goals.
Before her current leadership role, Alina served as Chief Operating Officer at livingHR, Inc., a human capital consulting firm dedicated to creating more humanized, inclusive workplaces. As COO, she led a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative people solutions that combined business strategy, culture design, and talent experience — supporting organizations across industries from technology startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Earlier in her career, Alina spent over three years at Catalina Marketing, where she held key HR leadership roles, including Vice President, Global Talent and Executive Director, Human Resources. She led the transformation of talent acquisition, launched employer branding and university engagement programs, and guided the organization through major cultural and structural changes during periods of growth and M&A activity.
Prior to Catalina, she served for nearly a decade at Harris Corporation, where she rose through roles such as Director, Talent Acquisition, Sr. Manager, Human Resources, and Manager, College Recruiting. Her tenure was marked by driving diversity and inclusion initiatives, leadership development programs, and enterprise-wide talent management strategies.
Across her distinguished career, Alina has earned recognition as a progressive HR leader passionate about shaping high-performing, inclusive workplaces. Her membership in the Forbes Human Resources Council further underscores her thought leadership and influence in the HR community.
