Delhi, India, July 2024 – Alka M. has been promoted to the position of Assistant Vice President Human Resources at Campus Activewear Ltd. With extensive experience in human resources and talent management, Alka is set to lead HR strategies and initiatives to support the company’s continued growth and success.
Alka M. has been with Campus Activewear Ltd for approximately three years. Prior to her current role, she served as GM – HR, where she managed talent management and the employee lifecycle at Campus Activewear, one of India’s leading sportswear manufacturers.
Before joining Campus Activewear, Alka worked at Reliance Brands Limited for nearly five years as Lead – Retail HR. In this role, she managed a team of Human Resource Business Partners across India and was responsible for talent management for both retail and corporate offices. She also won the Best Employee Award in a Support function in 2019.
Prior to Reliance Brands Limited, Alka served as Head HR & Admin at The SPA Group for about seven years. Here, she played a crucial role in managing HR functions for various international brands and newly launched verticals in health, wellness, and entertainment. Her role involved working closely with the Managing Director and functional heads to nurture a team of approximately 400 employees across India.
Earlier in her career, Alka was a Principal Consultant at Talisman for a year and a Senior Business Advisor at OMAM CONSULTANTS SERVICES PVT LTD for over a year. She successfully generated new business accounts and serviced clients, winning the best consultant award for her work with Google India.
