Perth, Western Australia, Australia, June 2024 – Perenti is delighted to announce the appointment of Allie Butterworth as the new Head of Human Resources Australia – Contract Mining. With extensive experience in human resources and a strong background in talent management, Allie brings valuable expertise to her new role, where she will lead HR initiatives for the contract mining division.
Allie Butterworth joins Perenti from Silk Hospitality, where she served as Director of People for approximately 9 months. In this short-term role, she focused on various HR functions including project management, industrial relations, and employee engagement.
Before Silk Hospitality, Allie was the Head of People & Purpose at 4impact for nearly 3 years, where she was responsible for culture change, talent acquisition, leadership, and strategic planning. She worked remotely from Brisbane, Australia, overseeing a wide range of HR initiatives and enhancing organizational performance.
Allie also held the position of Head of Talent and Culture – Global at Splend for over 2 years. During her tenure, she managed talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and cultural change initiatives, contributing significantly to the global HR strategy from London, United Kingdom.
At Programmed, Allie served as the Executive General Manager – People for over a year, where she was instrumental in driving diversity and inclusion, industrial relations, and strategic HR leadership.
She also worked at Asciano as the Regional Human Resource Manager – Western Australia & Northern Territory for nearly 3 years, managing talent acquisition, performance management, and change management.
Earlier in her career, Allie was a Human Resource Business Partner at SRG Limited, a Human Resource Manager at Odeum Farms, and a Human Resources Officer at Emery Group. She started her HR career as an Industrial Relations Intern at Housing Industry Association (HIA).
