Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2024 – The Board of Tata Communications has approved the appointment of Aman Gupta as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective from July 1, 2024. Aman will succeed Aadesh Goyal, who is set to retire on June 30, 2024, after serving the company with distinction.
Aman Gupta brings a wealth of experience and expertise in human resources to his new role. He has been with Tata Communications for over a decade, holding several key positions. Since August 2022, he has served as the Vice President – Global Head Compensation & Benefits and Business HR, where he led integrated HR functions, including compensation and benefits, HR business partnering for sales and marketing, and HR leadership for international regions. Prior to this role, Aman was the Sr. Director – Global Head of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, OD, D&I, and BHR (April 2018 – August 2022), managing a multifaceted role that encompassed corporate talent management, acquisition, organizational design, diversity and inclusion programs, and HR digital platforms.
Before joining Tata Communications, Aman was the Director – Human Resources (September 2013 – April 2018), where he played a pivotal role in driving strategic HR initiatives. His career also includes significant positions at EXL Service as the Assistant Vice President – Talent Management & OD (July 2011 – September 2013), where he led the strategic HR and OD functions across multiple regions. At KPMG (August 2008 – July 2011), Aman was the Manager – HR Advisory in Bahrain, leading the Human Capital/HR Consulting practice. His earlier roles include Sr. Consultant – HR Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers (August 2006 – August 2008), Consultant HR Advisory at Deloitte Consulting LLP (2004 – 2006), and Asst Project Manager at HLLPPT – BMGF Ahvan (2003 – 2004).
